Open-source projects realized

As the GECKO5Education/Modular are open-source and open-hardware we stimulate also their usage in all kind of usage cases.

This section lists (some/all) of the success stories:

• Tobias Jäggi used the GECKO5Modular with his own add-on board for his master thesis entitled FPGA-based low-cost motion capture at the BFH in 2025. The results and documentation of his thesis are available here.

• Adamm Alaoui used the GECKO5Education in his idea of expanding education at EPFL with his initiative in 2024/2025 of Microsim to provide an open-source multi-platform teaching platform based on a VSCode-extention in the idea of logisim-evolution++.
